SIRM

Sustainable Impact
Resource Mobilization

Overview

The Sustainable Impact Resource Mobilization (SIRM) initiative is the Arullsamy Foundation’s long-term strategy to ensure that every project we begin continues to thrive — sustainably, transparently, and independently.

While compassion sparks change, sustainability keeps it alive.
SIRM ensures that the Foundation’s education, health, housing, and empowerment programs have the financial strength, partnerships, and structure to grow for years to come.

This initiative transforms goodwill into a system — a framework where philanthropy meets strategy and impact becomes permanent.

Building a Foundation that Lasts for Generations

Our Goal

To build a strong, self-sustaining resource network that fuels the Foundation’s mission continuously through partnerships, innovation, and transparent financial management.

What We Do

Under SIRM, the Arullsamy Foundation focuses on mobilising resources in ways that are ethical, transparent, and future-oriented:

Develop Strategic Partnerships

with CSR programmes, embassies, donor agencies, and global NGOs.

Establish a Resource Mobilization Unit

dedicated to funding coordination, grant writing, and impact communication.

Launch Social Enterprise Models

linked to existing projects (education products, crafts, gems, and rural entrepreneurship).

Create Transparent Donor Systems

with regular reports, impact dashboards, and recognition.

Build Digital Fundraising Platforms

to connect global supporters with local impact.

Lasting change

Each contribution under SIRM multiplies in value — supporting not one, but all ten commitments of the Foundation through long-term sustainability.

Our Pilot Model

A foundational budget of ₨ 1 million establishes the structure for lasting financial independence:

  • Formation of a Resource Mobilization & Communications Unit.
  • Development of digital donation systems and global visibility tools.
  • Creation of CSR and donor engagement campaigns.
  • Launch of income-generating social enterprise pilotswithin Foundation projects.
  • Publication of annual impact and transparency reportsfor all partners.

This pilot ensures that every rupee entrusted to the Foundation creates ripple effects across all community programs.

Together, we make compassion sustainable.

Why It Matters

True impact doesn’t end with a project — it endures through generations.

The SIRM initiative ensures that the Arullsamy Foundation never depends on uncertainty. Instead, it stands on a foundation of partnerships, trust, and accountability.

When donors and institutions support SIRM, they aren’t funding just one program — they are fueling the entire movement that uplifts thousands of families every year.

Together, we make compassion sustainable.

How Donors Can Help

Corporate and institutional partners can join SIRM under their CSR Sustainability and Capacity-Building portfolios, helping build a self-reliant, globally respected Sri Lankan social foundation.

Supports visibility and digital outreach for one project.
Contributes to donor tracking and reporting systems.
Funds development of social enterprise income models.

Establishes the Foundation’s full Resource Mobilization Unit for one year.

Our Vision

The Arullsamy Foundation envisions a future where compassion is powered by sustainability — where every project continues to grow, every donor sees measurable impact, and every act of kindness becomes part of a permanent legacy.

Through Sustainable Impact Resource Mobilization (SIRM), we are not just funding change — we are funding the future.
