EAP

Education Access
Project

Overview

The Education Access Project (EAP) is one of the Arullsamy Foundation’s core commitments under the belief that education is the gateway to equality.

In Sri Lanka’s plantation and rural communities, children continue to face barriers to quality learning due to limited resources, lack of technology, and teacher shortages.
EAP directly addresses these inequalities by creating digital learning centres, community libraries, and school infrastructure upgrades, ensuring that every child, regardless of geography, has the opportunity to learn and grow.

Bridging the Urban–Rural Education Divide

Our Goal

Aligned with SDG 4: Quality Education EAP advances the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 by promoting inclusive, equitable, and quality education and creating lifelong learning opportunities for all.

It also contributes to SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities by closing the learning gap between urban and rural students.

What We Do

Digital Learning Centres

Establish Digital Learning Centres equipped with computers and internet access.

Community Libraries

Set up Community Libraries and supply learning materials.

Teacher training

Support teacher training programs and provide classroom furniture and tools.

Enforce

Partner with local authorities to enhance school facilities and promote attendance.

Lasting change

EAP bridges the urban–rural education gap, enabling thousands of children to pursue quality learning.
